Winter Quarter Portfolio Review and Graduation
On March 26th, the Winter Quarter was coming to an end and what better way to end the Quarter than visiting the graduates of AiC at Portfolio Review and Graduation. Every quarter the Art Institute has an exhibit of all graduating students work presented for potential clients, fellow classmates, and family and friends to share the experience of seeing all the hard work they have accomplished. There is gourmet food to indulge in, toys and gadgets to play with, photographs to gaze upon, and short videos to sit back and watch. Department Chairs of each program present awards to students of excellence and par of excellence, and after a long yet eventful three hours spent viewing the exhibits, a celebration of accomplishment is held for graduates! If you have never attended, you are missing out! Come join in on the fun and laughter this Spring! Everyone is invited!

So it's the 3rd day of Spring Break and I spent the afternnon drinking coffee, listening to good music, and editing images at Starbucks. What a great life to be a photographer. We get to enjoy working on things we love; whether that's networking with potential clients, taking photographs, spending the day editing images, or just relaxing and reading a good book about the life we want to pursue. Could life be any better?!

Colorado Ballet
In 2009 I had the chance to work with the Colorado Ballet and Dr. Don Dexter, a Documentary Videographer. Dr. Dexter was approached by the Colorado Ballet to make a video about the Colorado Ballet and the Colorado Ballet Academy. I photographed the "behind the scenes" action as well as having a chance to photograph the dancers.
